The core of this superbly handcrafted 3,500 square foot home is a collection of three Polish shepherds huts. The three shepherds huts were originally built in Poland 1919, 1926, and 1946, respectively. The huts—made of 12′ x 20′ hand-milled hemlock beams—were disassembled in Poland and shipped to Vail, Colorado. Reassembled by a team of four Polish master carpenters and cabinetmakers, they are now a part of a thoroughly modernized design and one of the most charming, unique homes situated within the Vail Valley today.
